Welcome to Mr. Wadsworth's Music Classroom!
Here you will find information about your child's musical education. This is a site under progress so there will be many changes, additions, or subtractions. If a link is broken or a page is blank please feel free to notify me and I will fix it as soon as possible.
It is my goal to give the students a very diverse and meaningful music education. We use Orff instruments such as the xylophone, glockenspiel, and drums to cover musical concepts and ideas. This site is designed as an additional resource to the classroom instruction that your children receive. I will be posting study guides, review sheets, instructional videos, and musical recordings that we use in the classroom. This is a general music classroom. we cover music from a variety of different cultures and time periods. Throughout the year the students will be assessed on their singing, their playing of instruments, and their knowledge of musical concepts. Throughout the site you will find more information about the day to day activities, my educational philosophy, and the goals for the students. Have a great day!
Feel free to have a look around and contact me with any questions! You may contact me using the contact form on this site or at [email protected].
